What's the difference between a legacy and a one hit wonder? Chemistry. Not all great things are built to last, but at HeyMae Digital & Design we don't work with just any creator. Instead, we hand select clients who share our beliefs and feed off our energy in order to catapult them into Hall Of Fame status.

You haven't worked this hard just to be an opening act. No, you deserve the same anticipation, buzz, and fan loyalty as the headliner at Madison Square Garden.
You know that question you get asked throughout your childhood of 'what do you want to be when you grow up'? Yeah, I never knew how to answer that. From a young age I knew that the traditional work path wasn't for me, but I never knew how to articulate why.
Fast forward to my freshman year of college. It's a cold frozen tundra Wisconsin night and I'm a Public Health major sitting in my 10x10 dorm room. Bored out of my mind and literally seconds away from dropping out to pursue groupie van life, I decided to start a (now retired) music blog. Music had always been one of my biggest passions in life, and in building the blog I discovered a newfound passion for web design.
It was 10 PM on the first Friday of my junior year of college, and the night took an unexpected turn. While jamming out with friends, a deep male voice asked to join us through the open living room window.
In retrospect, letting the mysterious stranger into our house was probably not the wisest decision. But looking back, I'm grateful we did.
As it turned out, our new musically inclined friend, who was actually pursuing a career as a country rock singer, became my first ever web design client. It was that interaction (which let's face it would make a great start for a horror movie plot) that sparked the chain of events that have led me to where I am today.
I won't bore you with the details, but shortly after this I changed my major to Digital Media & Design, graduated early just before the pandemic (ew, 2020), and transformed my music blog into what is now HeyMae Digital & Design.
Now, as I sit in my home office with my dog, designing brands and websites that tell stories as unique as the one that led me here, I realize that chance encounter was more than just a late-night college adventure—it was the first chord in my symphony of entrepreneurship. If you're ready to turn up the volume on your own dreams, let's chat.
